Are you passionate about supporting the educational journey of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the dedication, empathy, and skills to make a difference in their lives? If so, we want to hear from you!

One of our SEN schools, a therapeutic SEMH special school catering for 5 to 16 year olds, in King’s Lynn is looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to join them as soon as possible!

Role and Responsibilities:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational needs are met.
  • Support classroom teachers in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Encourage social integration and the development of key life skills.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, providing feedback.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing students' needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
