Part‑Time SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Mon–Fri, 8:30–12:30)
Location: Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest
Hours: 8:30am–12:30pm, Monday–Friday
Duration: For the remainder of the academic year
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
A rewarding part‑time role supporting a pupil with additional needs on a 1:1 basis within a caring school environment.
✔️ You Will Need:
- Experience with SEN (Dyslexia, communication needs, etc.)
- Passion for helping vulnerable pupils succeed
- Proactive, positive and patient approach
- Resilience when supporting behavioural or emotional needs
- Strong communication with staff and families
✔️ Behaviour & Engagement Skills:
- Ability to follow personalised behaviour plans
- Skilled using de‑escalation strategies
- Ability to build consistent and trusting relationships
Requirements:
- Updated CV
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
