SEMH Tutor – Banbury
£20–£30 per hour | Flexible hours
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled SEMH Tutor based in Banbury to support learners from EYFS through to Post-16.
This role is ideal for a tutor who is confident working with students who experience social, emotional and mental health needs, and who can build trust, motivation and engagement through personalised learning.
The Role
You will:

Support students with SEMH needs including anxiety, low confidence, EBSA, and emotional regulation challenges

Assess each learner’s needs and starting points

Plan and deliver a tailored, engaging scheme of work
-
Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual learning styles
-
Build positive, consistent relationships that encourage progress

Monitor and review progress regularly
Requirements
You must:
-
Hold QTS or have a minimum of 3 years tutoring experience

Have experience supporting students with SEMH needs

Be confident teaching learners from EYFS to Post-16

Be patient, empathetic, and resilient

Be organised and committed to high-quality, individualised support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
