Job Description:
As a Cover Supervisor with Teaching Personnel, you will enjoy the flexibility of working in various secondary schools across the Tameside area. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Managing the classroom, ensuring a positive learning environment, and handling student behaviour.
- Supporting students in their learning and offering assistance when needed.
- Following the school's policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with teaching staff for a seamless transition of learning during the teacher's absence.
- Providing feedback and reporting any issues to school staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with secondary school students is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
- An adaptable and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
