We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team in Skelmersdale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
• Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
• Assist with managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive outcomes.
• Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and support where necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual.
• Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEMH needs (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• A commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are an advantage, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
