We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Alternative Provision in Lancing. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who require a nurturing, structured environment to succeed.
The Role
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Support students both in and out of the classroom.
- Help manage behaviour using positive and restorative approaches.
- Encourage emotional regulation and resilience.
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to deliver personalised support.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Support students to re-engage with education and achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
