Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary schools in Lancashire to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to start in April 2026. This role is an excellent opportunity for graduates and unqualified teachers who are looking to gain first-hand experience in a secondary school setting and take a step towards a career in education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting pupils with varying abilities while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
The Role Will Involve:
- Supervising whole classes across a range of subjects
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring learning objectives are met
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students to remain focused and motivated
- Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
This Role Is Ideal For:
- Graduates considering teacher training or a long-term role in education
