SEN Support Worker – Secondary Schools | Aylesbury
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference every single day? We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable SEN Support Workers to join welcoming secondary schools in Aylesbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to play a key role in helping pupils thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Location: Aylesbury
Hours: Ideally 5 days per week (full-time), but we are also happy to hear from part-time candidates
Start: ASAP
Opportunities: Long-term and potential permanent roles available
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
-
Helping children stay engaged with their learning and daily routines
-
Providing 1:1 or small group support
-
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
-
Supporting with personal care where required
-
Creating a safe, positive and encouraging environment for pupils
We’d love to hear from you if you:
-
Have experience as a Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, Care Worker, or similar
-
Have experience working with SEN children in education, care, or community settings
-
Are patient, nurturing and proactive
-
Feel confident supporting children with additional needs
-
Are happy to support with personal care when required
- Have achild and adult DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
