We’re Hiring: Secondary Science Teachers in Bristol
Start Date: ASAP
Full-Time / Part-Time | Permanent / Flexible | Key Stage 3 & 4

We’re looking for passionate, inspiring Science Teachers in Bristol who are committed to developing confident learners and nurturing the next generation of critical thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers.


The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and practical Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics)

  • Develop students’ scientific knowledge, enquiry skills, and understanding of real-world applications

  • Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for scientific discovery

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND

  • Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic development

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff


Who This Role Suits:

  • Qualified Science Teachers (QTS or equivalent)

  • ECTs/NQTs seeking their first teaching role

  • Experienced educators looking for a fresh challenge or new environment

  • Individuals passionate about Science and student achievement


What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) 

  • Strong subject knowledge in Science

  • Proven ability to motivate and engage students

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development

  • Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
