Secondary School Teacher – Full Time | RCT Area
£166.32 per day
Key Stages 3 & 4 (Ages 11–16)

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Secondary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons
- Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed
- Create a positive, well‑managed classroom environment
- Support learners of all abilities, including those with ALN
- Contribute to a school culture built on respect, inclusion, and high expectations
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or is close to achieving it)
- Has experience teaching KS3 and/or KS4
- Brings confidence, passion, and creativity to the classroom
- Builds strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Is flexible and able to travel within the RCT area
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- EWC registration (Teacher category)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two recent education‑based references
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
