We are partnering with a number of secondary schools across Bristol that are currently seeking enthusiastic History teachers. Whether you're interested in day-to-day supply, a longer-term placement, or support in securing a permanent role, we can help you find the right fit.
This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) keen to broaden their experience, as well as experienced educators looking for a new teaching environment.

Role Responsibilities (Long-Term / Permanent)

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4
-
Encourage students to explore key historical events, themes, and perspectives
-
Help learners develop critical thinking, analysis, and evaluation skills
-
Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities, including SEND
-
Monitor progress and provide feedback to support student achievement
We’re Looking For
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it
-
Strong subject knowledge in History
-
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A passion for bringing history to life in the classroom
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
