Science Teacher – Secondary Schools: KS3 & KS4
Teaching Personnel are recruiting Science Teachers to work across a range of partner secondary schools in Central Manchester, in areas including Hulme, Ardwick, Moss Side, Levenshulme, Old Trafford and surrounding areas.
Our partner schools regularly require high‑quality Science specialists to deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4. This role is well suited to both experienced Science Teachers and ambitious ECTs looking to secure a flexible teaching position in Manchester which could lead to a permanent role.

About the Science Teacher Role:
- Delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science depending on your specialism
- Supporting student progress and maintaining an inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with colleagues within successful Science departments
- No planning and marking required for day-to-day roles
Requirements:
- UK QTS in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science)
- Strong classroom management and confident behaviour strategies
- Ability to commute to Central Manchester secondary schools
- A genuine passion for Science in education
- Experience delivering KS3 and KS4 Science lessons (placement or post‑qualification)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
