Science Teacher

Job description

Our client SEN school in Bournemouth is seeking a part time Science Teacher from September 2020 within their school. It would be 3 days per week.

The pupils have Autism and social and emotional problems, some with psychological problems and other needs. They need someone with great subject knowledge in Science with a teaching qualification and the ability to work with challenging students. 

Person Specification

· NQT/ Experienced Teacher – any Science specialism welcomed

· Must hold British QTS

· Good subject & science curriculum knowledge

· Excellent communication skills

· The ability to teach at least one Science subject to KS5 preferable

· Able to motivate and inspire pupils

· Can deliver consistently good or outstanding lessons

· Committed to pupil progress

The successful person needs to have excellent safeguarding knowledge and working to procedures and also health and safety guidelines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
