Science Teacher

A secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Biology Teacher to join their science department this September. As a Biology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring they develop a strong understanding of biological concepts and are well-prepared for their GCSE exams. The school encourages an interactive approach to learning, where practical experiments and real-world applications are key components of the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Biology and a passion for teaching. You will need to create lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and challenging, catering to students of various abilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging Biology lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4

• Preparing students for GCSE exams and providing support through assessments and revision sessions

• Using practical experiments to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts

• Providing constructive feedback and tracking student progress

• Collaborating with the science department to share best practices and resources
