Science Teacher – Secondary School | Rochdale
Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher eager to make a difference in the classroom? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will have a love for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and a desire to inspire the next generation of scientists through engaging and thought-provoking lessons.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to students of varying abilities.

Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering the full science curriculum.

Assess, monitor, and support student progress with clear and constructive feedback.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic excellence.

Use a range of innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Participate in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and wider school activities.
Requirements

A degree in Science, Education, or a related subject.

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

A passion for education and a commitment to professional development.
