We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join our dynamic team and inspire our students to achieve their full potential in the sciences.

Job Description: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills. Your passion for science and innovative teaching methods will help students achieve academic success and develop a lifelong interest in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
