Science Teacher
Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and resilient Science Teacher with QTS to join a highly supportive SEN PRU environment in Glastonbury.
This provision works with pupils aged 14–16 who have experienced trauma, exclusion, and barriers to mainstream education.

The Role
- Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support students with SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds, and challenging behaviour
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with a dedicated team of support staff and specialists
- Contribute to behaviour strategies and personalised learning plans
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8.45am to 3.30pm
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience or strong interest in SEN, PRU, or SEMH settings
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
