Science Graduate - Graduate Teaching Programme
Job description
Are you a passionate Science graduate looking to begin a rewarding career in education? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Graduate Teaching Programme supporting secondary schools in Rochdale and Oldham, providing an excellent pathway into teaching.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while receiving structured training and support to develop your teaching skills. You will work alongside experienced educators, gradually building confidence and expertise in delivering engaging science lessons.
As a Science Graduate working with us, you will:
- Support the delivery of engaging and interactive Science lessons
- Assist students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Work closely with experienced teachers and mentors
- Develop classroom management skills and teaching strategies
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a degree in a Science-related subject
- Have a genuine passion for education and working with young people
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Are considering a long-term career in teaching
Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
