Teaching Personnel is recruiting an experienced School Administrator with a strong understanding of SEND processes to join a specialist educational setting in the Devizes area.
This is a full-time opportunity starting in September 2026, although an earlier start may be available for the successful candidate.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and professional administrator who can confidently hit the ground running from their first day. Previous experience working within a school environment is essential, particularly supporting SEND administration, Annual Reviews and maintaining confidential pupil records.
This is a varied role where excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail are essential to ensure statutory processes are completed accurately and within required timescales.
About the Position
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, SENDCo, teachers and external agencies, you will coordinate important administrative functions that directly support pupils with additional needs.
- Coordinating Annual Review meetings from initial invitation through to completion.
- Preparing, distributing and maintaining EHCP documentation.
- Liaising professionally with parents, carers, local authorities and external professionals.
- Updating confidential pupil records and school databases.
- Producing reports, letters and meeting documentation.
- Managing diaries, appointments and meeting schedules.
- Ensuring SEND paperwork complies with statutory deadlines.
- Supporting the wider administration team during busy periods.
- Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Who We're Looking For
- Previous school administration experience.
- Knowledge of SEND administration and Annual Review processes.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding organisational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- A professional, approachable and reliable manner.
- Confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
