Salary: £120- £160 a day depending on experience (AWR will be addressed after 12 weeks)

This school is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management skills and a solid background working across KS1 and lower KS2. The ability to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents/carers is essential. The school values commitment and a strong work ethic and is seeking someone who can support children throughout their primary education. This Year 2 teaching position begins in September and may lead to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Carry out regular assessments to track student progress and inform planning.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL, or additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
• Take part in ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Qualified Teacher with QTS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
