Religious Education Teacher- Weymouth
Start date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time
Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher seeking a full-time opportunity from September? As a specialist education recruitment agency, we are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Weymouth to recruit an inspiring RE Teacher.
This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community, where high-quality teaching and learning are at the heart of everything they do. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons that encourage students to explore diverse beliefs, values, and ethical issues in a respectful and inclusive environment.
The school is looking for a passionate educator who can motivate and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5), fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role provides a fantastic platform for professional growth and development.
What we are looking for:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
- Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
- A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
- The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
