A mainstream secondary school in Christchurch, Dorset, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Religious Studies Teacher to join their Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator with a passion for inspiring young people and promoting thoughtful discussion and understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and respect for diverse beliefs and values. They will play a key role in supporting students’ academic and personal development, helping them to think critically and reflectively about moral and cultural issues.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
