Religious Studies Teacher – Full Time – Bournemouth – January 2026 Start

A welcoming and high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Religious Studies Teacher to join their Humanities department from January 2026 on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to explore a wide range of beliefs, values, and ethical issues. The school promotes a culture of respect, inclusivity, and curiosity, making it an excellent environment for both experienced teachers and ECTs to develop their practice.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Religious Studies within a secondary school setting

  • Be able to inspire students through creative and reflective teaching approaches

  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards

  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental initiatives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
