Job description

Reception Teacher- 4 days a week

Location: Leasowe (CH46)

Start Date: 13th April 2026

Contract: Full-Time, 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs)

Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56 per day

About the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to the reception class in line with National and School curriculum
  • Create an inviting and positive learning space for pupils to support their personal and academic growth
  • Work collaboratively with all other colleagues parents and external agencies to ensure pupil development
  • Effectively assess and track pupils progress to ensure targets are being met and I not, identify what additional support can be offered

What are we looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching reception or Early Years
  • Good communication and collaborative skills
  • Passion for promoting a safe learning environment for all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
