Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School based in Stoke-on-Trent (ST1), who are looking for an Reception Teacher to start full-time in January.

The school are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic educator to join their EYFS department to cover maternity leave until the end of the academic year.

About the role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons which encourage young students to explore and grow in confidence
  • Working with support staff to identify students who require additional learning support
  • Communicating feedback and progress updates with parents/carers
  • Managing behaviour when necessary

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS specialising in EYFS or experience teaching the curriculum
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and current teaching/behavioural management techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with young students
  • Adaptability and organisation is key

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
