Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Early Years practitioner who is passionate about creating a strong foundation for children at the very start of their educational journey.

The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences while maintaining high expectations for progress, behaviour and development.

The Role:

• Full classroom responsibility within Reception

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum

• Creating a stimulating and safe learning environment

• Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress

• Supporting children’s social, emotional and language development

• Working closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and parents

• Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within Early Years or Reception

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Warm, patient and adaptable approach

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
