Reception Teacher – Primary School
Location: Cardiff
Pay: Competitive daily rate (paid weekly)
Contract: Full-time / Long-term opportunity

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Early Years practitioner who is passionate about creating a strong foundation for children at the very start of their educational journey.
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences while maintaining high expectations for progress, behaviour and development.
The Role:
-
Full classroom responsibility within Reception
-
Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum
-
Creating a stimulating and safe learning environment
-
Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress
-
Supporting children’s social, emotional and language development
-
Working closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and parents
-
Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience teaching within Early Years or Reception
-
Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
-
Excellent classroom management skills
-
Warm, patient and adaptable approach
-
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
