Job description

Reception Teacher – Hayes, Starting in 2026

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hayes. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young children at the start of their educational journey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development. The school is looking for a qualified teacher with excellent classroom management skills, a nurturing approach, and a genuine passion for early years education.

Whether you are an experienced Reception Teacher or an ECT looking to begin your career in a supportive school setting, we would love to hear from you.

Key Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within EYFS is desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
