RE Teacher – Bromley, South East London

One of Teaching Personnel’s client schools in The London Borough of Bromley have recently begun recruiting for a Religious Education teacher to start on a full-time basis in September 2023. The role would also ideally involve teaching a little bit of Geography as well, however the school will prepare the lessons if not a specialist in this field. Some of the important details about the role are bullet pointed below;

  • September 2023 start
  • Monday-Friday (8am – 3:30pm) with school holidays off.
  • School based in The London Borough of Bromley
  • R.E. to KS3 and one KS4 class.
  • Several lessons of Geography to KS3 as well.
  • Pay in line with spine point on the MPS / UPS.
  • Must have experience of delivering Humanities lessons to KS3 and ideally KS4.

This role would suit both ECT’s and more experienced teachers alike. If you consider planning and delivering quality R.E. lessons to be a personal strength of yours and you have a desire to help young people achieve their academic goals, then the school would like to hear from you. Due to the long-term nature of the role, the school would also appreciate someone who is capable of forming excellent relationships with other members of staff and students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
