About the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established specialist education setting in Bury to recruit a dedicated and passionate Qualified Teacher.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who have additional needs, delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching that supports both academic progress and personal development. You will play a key role in creating a positive and structured learning environment, ensuring all pupils are engaged and supported to achieve their full potential.
The role will involve planning and delivering lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs, and working collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with additional needs
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning abilities and styles
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and SEN staff to support pupil development
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
