Job description

Are you seeking your next academic position within a Primary School in Cambridge? Teaching Personnel are seeking QTS Qualified and experienced teachers, who are available for full-time, part-time or day-to-day opportunities within the Central Cambridgeshire area.

 

We currently service over 70% of all Primary schools within this area and are always on the lookout for quality candidates to support our City and Village schools with their supply and cover needs. Meaning there is always a good variety of work based within all year groups and good opportunities to secure long-term bookings, should this be something you are interested in. Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Relevant teaching experience within a UK primary school setting
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • The ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The right to work in the UK

The Role

As a Primary School Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons across the primary age range
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
