About the Role

We're recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teachers to work in schools across Cambridge and Ely. You'll play a key role in delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupils to reach their full potential in welcoming and inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
  • Monitor, assess and record pupil progress
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues, SENCOs and school leadership teams
  • Contribute to wider school activities where appropriate

What You'll Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A minimum of two years' UK primary teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel across Cambridgeshire
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
