About the Role
We are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic P.E. Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for sport, fitness, and well-being within a supportive and high-achieving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality P.E. lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
- Lead extracurricular sports clubs and represent the school in competitions
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress
- Contribute to whole-school sports events and enrichment activities
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
- Experience teaching P.E. in a UK secondary school (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds
- Passion for sport and student development
Desirable
- Experience coaching competitive sports teams
- Ability to teach GCSE or A-Level P.E.
- First Aid qualification
