About the Role

We are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic P.E. Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for sport, fitness, and well-being within a supportive and high-achieving environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality P.E. lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
  • Lead extracurricular sports clubs and represent the school in competitions
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress
  • Contribute to whole-school sports events and enrichment activities
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
  • Experience teaching P.E. in a UK secondary school (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds
  • Passion for sport and student development

Desirable

  • Experience coaching competitive sports teams
  • Ability to teach GCSE or A-Level P.E.
  • First Aid qualification
