About the Role

We are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic P.E. Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for sport, fitness, and well-being within a supportive and high-achieving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality P.E. lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
Lead extracurricular sports clubs and represent the school in competitions
Monitor, assess, and track student progress
Contribute to whole-school sports events and enrichment activities
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
Experience teaching P.E. in a UK secondary school (ECTs welcome to apply)
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds
Passion for sport and student development

Desirable

Experience coaching competitive sports teams
Ability to teach GCSE or A-Level P.E.
First Aid qualification
