A thriving and Ofsted-rated "GOOD" secondary school in Bristol is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join their permanent staff from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team that is committed to providing high-quality education to its students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students make excellent progress.
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Contributing to the wider Maths department and school community through participation in extra-curricular activities, departmental meetings, and school initiatives.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience of teaching Maths at secondary level, preferably across both KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is an advantage).
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam specifications.
- The ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for raising educational standards.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
