VACANCY: Maths Teacher (SEN)
Location: Lancaster
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and committed Maths Teacher to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in Lancaster. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality mathematics teaching to pupils with a variety of learning needs, ensuring that lessons are appropriately differentiated and accessible.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver structured, personalised maths education

  • Implement individual learning plans and assess progress

  • Maintain high standards of classroom organisation and behaviour

  • Work collaboratively with SEN staff and external professionals

  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and continuous improvement

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)

  • Experience within SEN settings (desirable)

  • Strong understanding of adaptive teaching strategies

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
