Pay Rate: MPS (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Wolverhampton that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Qualified English Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
The Role at a Glance
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver dynamic English Language & Literature lessons across KS3 & KS4
- ✍️ Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing and analysis
- Bring texts to life through creative and engaging teaching strategies
- Use assessment for learning to track progress and raise attainment
- Create a positive, inclusive and high-expectation classroom environment
- Collaborate with a supportive and forward-thinking English department
What We’re Looking For
- ✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- ✔ Strong subject knowledge in English Language & Literature
- ✔ Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply)
- ✔ A passion for inspiring young people and raising achievement
- ✔ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- ✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
