Job description

English Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit English teachers to join the English department in secondary schools in central and south Manchester in the new year, starting as soon as January 2025.

 Highlights of this position:

  • Flexible: full-time or part-time English teaching position: KS3 and KS4 English
  • Pay will be dependent upon experience and pay scale: MPS1 – UPS3
  • Applications are encouraged from ECTs or more experienced teachers
  • Highly reputable secondary schools situated in the central and south-Manchester areas

The schools we work with are looking for an English teacher either with extensive experience or an ECT who is looking to gain experience. Schools located in central and south Manchester area are very easily accessible from all surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. Educators living in the city centre will find it highly accessible via public transport. 

Any English teachers that are due to be available in the new year are highly encouraged to apply as soon as possible to be shortlisted and sent over to the school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
