Full-Time Teacher – SEMH School (Wirral)
Location: Wirral
Contract: Full-Time
An SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school based in Wirral is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Teacher to join their team. This is a highly specialised setting where students present extremely challenging behaviours, requiring a teacher who is resilient, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference.
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience working in SEMH or similar specialist settings.
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach.
- Be committed to creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and external agencies to meet individual needs.
- Show creativity and flexibility in planning lessons tailored to diverse abilities.

Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in SEMH or alternative provision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
