Qualified Teachers needed – Maths, English, Science & Other Subjects

Location: Nottingham & Nottinghamshire
Roles: Supply, Long-Term & Permanent
Salary: Competitive – MPS/UPS & daily rates available

About Us

We are working in partnership with a wide network of secondary schools across Nottingham/Nottinghamshire. Due to increasing demand from our partner schools, we are recruiting qualified Core Subject Teachers specialising in Maths, English and Science for a variety of roles.

The Role

As a qualified teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons within your subject specialism, maintaining strong classroom practice, and supporting pupil progress in line with the National Curriculum.

Roles are available:

  • Across various Secondary schools
  • KS3–KS5 (depending on experience and subject)
  • Day-to-day supply, long-term cover and permanent contracts

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-led lessons
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, including SEND and EAL
  • Uphold school behaviour policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK qualification
  • Specialism in Maths, English or Science, other subjects welcome to apply
  • Experience teaching in UK schools (ECTs/NQTs encouraged to apply)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and professionalism
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
