Psychology Teacher – Full Time (Temporary Contract)

Lancashire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:40pm
Contract: 6 weeks initially (potential to extend)
Sector: Further Education / Sixth Form

We are working on behalf of a college in Lancashire to recruit a full-time Psychology Teacher for an immediate start. This is a temporary role for 6 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on college requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Psychology lessons to college-level learners

  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum

  • Assess student work and track progress

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with departmental staff

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology or a closely related subject

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience

  • Experience teaching Psychology at FE or sixth-form level (preferred)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
