Primary schools located in Solihull are looking for committed psychology graduates to join their team on a full-time basis. This role would suit a graduate who is interested in utilising their degree whilst gaining hands on experience within an academic setting. Also, for an individual who is considering beginning a career in education.

The role is to work with pupils in KS1 & KS2, identifying individual needs of the students and supporting them with their academic progress. Roles and responsibility can include:

-being active and engaging around the classroom

-working in small groups or a 1:1 basis

-supporting the class teacher with planning and preparing lessons.

-prior experience working with children is recommended but not essential

-passion for education

-successful applicants will be confident, resilient, and proactive, with a genuine passion to assist young children’s academic and social attainment.

Long term and short-term placement opportunities are available, ranging from one term to a full academic year. The successful candidate will be recruited on a trial basis at first, with the opportunities for a long-term role to be established. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
