Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and passionate staff to join our teams supporting SEN and Primary Schools across:
LEATHERHEAD, SURREY
We are currently recruiting for:
- Teaching Assistants (TA)
- Learning Support Assistants (LSA)
- Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA)
Start Date: As soon as vetting is completed
Contract: Flexible roles – long-term, short-term, temporary and permanent opportunities available
About the Schools & Students
You will be working in warm, welcoming and supportive mainstream primary schools and specialist SEN settings, supporting children and young people aged 4–18.
The SEN provisions and specialist schools cater for pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- ADHD and associated behavioural needs
- Sensory processing difficulties
Within our primary schools, you may support pupils on a one-to-one basis, work with small intervention groups, or assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and creating positive learning environments.
All schools provide nurturing, structured environments where students are supported to thrive both academically and personally. Staff work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, behaviour specialists and families to provide the most effective holistic support for all students.

About You
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are:
- Passionate about supporting children and young people
- Patient, empathetic and resilient
- Flexible and able to adapt to different learning and behavioural needs
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Experienced in education, childcare, care settings or SEN support (desirable but not essential)
- For HLTAs: Relevant qualifications and/or experience within education is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
