Primary School 1-1 Teaching Assistant Opportunities

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and dynamic teaching assistants for both full-time and part-time positions in the primary school sector, located in Norwich and Great Yarmouth. Join us in making a positive impact on the education of young minds.

About You:

- Possess previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in similar environments like nurseries, as a tutor or in care work.

- Demonstrate patience and a personable approach.

- Show adaptability, a willingness to assist wherever needed, and an eagerness to tackle challenges.

- Be a UK-based resident with the right to work.

- Hold a child-only enhanced DBS check on the update service or be prepared to obtain one.

Typical 1-1 TA Duties:

- Work closely with students needing additional support, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

- Motivate and inspire children to actively engage in classroom activities.

- Contribute to record-keeping by documenting observations of pupils during the school day.

- Provide general classroom and behaviour management support to the teacher.

- Prepare lesson resources and help maintain a clean and tidy classroom.
