Primary School TA – Key Stage 1

Location: Northumberland

Start Date: 1^st October

Pay: £100 - £120 per day, paid weekly (dependant on experience)

Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant who is eager for a new challenge at a warm and welcoming primary school based in Northumberland.

The successful candidate will be committed to assisting the class teacher deliver high-quality lessons, encouraging pupil progress, and creating a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
· Assist with managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
· Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
· Help monitor and record pupil progress and achievements.
· Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents where appropriate.

Requirements:

· Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting.
· Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1.
· Good understanding of the primary curriculum.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
