Primary Teacher – Newhaven
Location: Newhaven
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time & Part-time opportunities available
Pay: £120 – £140 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Newhaven seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment — creativity encouraged, coffee essential.
The Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on your experience and preference)

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
-
Assess, track and support pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential
-
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering respect and enthusiasm for learning

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
-
Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
-
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
-
Brings energy, creativity and adaptability to their teaching
-
Is committed to nurturing both academic progress and personal development
-
Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
