Year 5 Teacher (Full-Time)

Christchurch | Start: September | Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a lovely mainstream primary school in Christchurch to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils to make excellent progress during this important stage of their primary education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the Year 5 National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing effective feedback and targeted support.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment where every child can succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
  • Participate in ongoing CPD and contribute to the wider life of the school.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and committed teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching Year 5 or within Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Can effectively differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Is an excellent communicator and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
  • Is confident using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
