Primary Teachers and Cover Supervisors – Inspire Young Learners Across Norfolk

Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive? Whether you’re an experienced primary teacher or a confident cover supervisor, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re working with welcoming primary schools across Norfolk that value creativity, inclusivity, and the positive impact great teaching can have in the classroom. You’ll play an important role in nurturing curiosity, building confidence, and supporting pupils in their early learning journey.

Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you’ll be travelling between school sites and supporting different settings.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering or supervising engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the primary curriculum.

  • Supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their academic and personal milestones.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and a love of learning.

  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.

  • Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment for young learners.

  • Warm, professional, and adaptable across different primary school settings.

  • Skilled in engaging young children and managing classroom routines positively.

  • Calm, patient, and nurturing in their approach.

  • Committed to ongoing professional development.

  • Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
