Job description

SEN Primary Teacher – Full-Time – Bury – September or Sooner Start

A well-established SEN primary school in Bury is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher to join their team. The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, communication difficulties, and moderate learning needs.

You will be responsible for a small class of pupils, allowing you to deliver highly personalised learning and make a genuine impact on each child’s development.

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress against EHCP targets
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and external professionals
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working within SEN or a strong interest in transitioning into SEN
  • Be patient, adaptable, and creative in their teaching approach
  • Have a solid understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
