Job description

SEND Teacher – Maths, English, Science (General Cover)

Location: Great Yarmouth
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible)
Pay: Dependent on experience (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Start Date: ASAP

We’re currently working with a fantastic partner school in Great Yarmouth to recruit an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an inclusive setting and is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs to reach their full potential. Whether your experience is in autism, SEMH, or complex needs, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Teaching and supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Creating engaging and individualised learning experiences
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress
  • Bringing patience, positivity, and consistency to the classroom

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working in an SEND or alternative provision setting
  • A caring, flexible, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
