Primary Teacher – KS1

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Key Stage 1 Teachers to work across primary schools in and around Stockport. About the Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum to pupils aged 5–7. You’ll deliver engaging lessons in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, while fostering creativity and curiosity through wider curriculum activities. You will also:

  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Hold a recognised Primary Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Strong classroom management and ability to support pupil progress
  • Experience working in primary schools, ideally within KS1
  • Knowledge of phonics and early literacy development is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
