Job description

Maternity Cover – Year 2 Teacher

  • Start Date: 20th April 2020
  • 1 year contract
  • Weekly pay rate: GBP500-GBP850

A Poole based school is looking for an ambitious Year 2 teacher to join a dedicated and friendly team, to provide maternity cover for a KS1 class.

You will be an excellent practitioner, be reflective and flexible, be a proactive learner and dedicated to meeting the needs of all learners. You will be able to recognise and nurture individual qualities and strengths of both staff and children.

The ideal teacher for this Year 2 class teacher will have/be;

  • Qualified Primary Teacher (UK QTS)
  • In depth knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
  • A commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning
  • Enthusiasm, energy and flexibility
  • High expectations and the ability to raise attainment and achievement.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
